Brain Prize 2012: Excerpts from the Prize Ceremony 2012-06-05

In May 2012, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark handed The Grete Lundbeck European Brain Prize award to Christine Petit and Karen Steel ‘for their unique, world-leading contributions to our understanding of the genetic regulation of the development and functioning of the ear, and for elucidating the causes of many of the hundreds of inherited forms of deafness’.The ceremony took place at the Black Diamond in Copenhagen, Denmark.
